Surprisingly good foodcourt. Post office, supermarkets, newsagency, pharmacy, butcher etc. Easy to access and small. Beats the battle at many of the other larger shopping centres.

When asked why four out of seven protected paperbark trees on the shopping centre grounds were felled, and the remaining three severely pruned, Raintrees management replied they were dangerous. When it was pointed out they were home to hundreds of cockatoos, management's response was, "They can go elsewhere." When questioned as to whether alternatives were considered, such as putting a fence around the trees, and asked why the community wasn't consulted (the facility claims to be a community shopping centre), the response was, "We don't have to tell anyone." Poor PR skills on the part of management detract from what otherwise might be a pleasant shopping experience.

Adequate fresh food shopping and a variety of take aways.
